Janam Bhumi

Janambhumi is a revered Hindu temple in Mathura. It is regarded as the birthplace of Lord Krishna and attracts many believers every day. The idols of Radha and Krishna are worshipped at Janmabhoomi Temple. It is believed that Lord Krishna took birth here inside a prison. That prison is kept intact inside Janam Bhumi Temple and carries immense significance for devotees. For the amusement of visitors, an artificial cave is also built inside the temple where shows depicting the life of Lord Krishna are held regularly. Janambhumi Temple is located in the heart of the divine city of Mathura and is well-connected via road. Rickshaws are available to reach the temple. Plenty of hotels are established near the temple for visitors. The security is high inside the temple and visitors are not allowed to capture photographs or bring any electronic items inside the temple complex.
