Yamuna Expressway Authority

Also known as the TEA or the Taj Expressway Authority, this was a body commissioned to carry the project of the Yamuna Expressway whose proposition was first placed by the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati. After the bill was passed, she herself supervised the building of a strong Authorised body with a number of able architects, engineers and technicians who started the project which is now the longest 6- lane controlled expressway of the country.
