Parshuram Kund is located in the Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a divine Hindu pilgrimage site. Dedicated to the revered sage, Parsuram, it attracts a lot of believers due to its religious significance and an epic mythological story with multiple versions. Parshuram Kund is crowded with visitors during the month of January due to Makara Sankranti. It is estimated that around 70,000 devotees visit Parsuram Kund every year during the festival to take a dip in the Lohit River. An annual fair takes place during the festival. People can also go on a short trek from Tezu to Glow Lake, this trek takes aroud a day. Other than that, people can also enjoy angling as well as river rafting in the gurgling Lohit River. Parshuram Kund is well-connected via roads, but there is no direct railway system established for Parsuram Kund. But there are plenty of taxi services available to make your journey smooth.
