Jogi Mahal

A historical site in the Sawai Madhopur District, this palace is just opposite to the gate of the Ranthambhore National park on the other side of the Lake. The entrance of this palace is now hidden by a number of trees which make this place look more like a forest. The beauty of this palace is long lost and now what you find here are just the ruined parts of it. Thsi palace was built by the early Rajputs and was used by the king and his men as a resting place after they had finished or were on their way to the hunting grounds. These hunting ground is of course where we see the famous Ranthambhore National Park which was once the private hunting ground of the Rajputs.
