A place of outstanding beauty, this is the same lake which is in front of the hill on top of which the Jogi Mahal is situated. The clean and crystal like waters of the lake is where you will find a number of wild animals and reptiles cooling themselves or quenching their thirst. The best sight is of the crocodiles and of course of the deer which come here to drink water. Safaris around this area is a nice thing to do and photography comes hand-in-hand of course.

Padam Talab, or Talao was a refreshing spot for us as we returned from the Fort. The lake is known for the rare appearance of the Chinkara, along with other animals in the National Park that spotted at their water point at dawn and dusk. We also got to see the famous Jogi Mahal on one edge of the lake, while lying between the Padam Talao and Raj Bagh lake were Raj Bagh ruins that are known to give Ranthambore its unique picturesque appearance,
