Sriram Sagar Project

Sriram Sagar project is built on the Godavari River in Nizamabad district of Telangana. It is an irrigation project which is also known as the Pochampad project or Khustapuram dam locally. Its foundation was laid by Jawahar Lal Nehru and is popularly considered to be the lifeline of Telangana.
