Chambel River

Also known as Chambal, this is a tributary of the Yamuna River which forms a major part of the Great Gangetic Drainage System. It is a perennial River flowing through the Central India and is known to be a pollution free river. It has a number of branches and all of these flow along the sides of the Vindhya Ranges. The banks of the river are known to have immense scenic beauty and are also good places to grow crops.
