Yarada Beach

This is one of the most beautiful beaches of the country and is in the Yarada Village of Andhra Pradesh. The beach is never really crowded mainly beacause it is quite a distance from the nearest city of Vizag. As you drive till the beach you will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature in the form of lush green sights and the beauty of the Bay of Bengal. As you reach the beach you will be welcomed with very clean crystal waters and golden sands. It is not advisable to swim in this area as the sea here is foerce and the slope of the beach is quite steep too. You can instead enjoy a picnic here or simply spend some quiet time and refresh yourself.

After that we went to ‘Yerada beach’ and I believe it was one of our best decisions. (Check my pictures) The beach was very quiet as it was quite far from the actual city, it was at such a location where one could see mountains meeting the beach. I got few good shots since we reached there at the time of dusk. After that we went back to our hotel and discussed the stories about which group of students went at which locations and mine was the best among the lot. Next morning we departed from Vizag and was sleeping during most of the journey. We reached Delhi around 7:30 Pm. And went to CP to have our food. Then departed for Dehradun via bus.

Yarada Beach is located near the Navy Colony and still remains one of the least explored beaches around India. We were in vizag for only a couple of days, so we ensured that we spend at least one good sunny afternoon at Yarada Beach......absolutely no regrets.Great Time spent with Great People.

Surrounded by serene hills on three sides, this beach is perfect for anybody looking for some solitude to contemplate life. It is situated in a village called yarada, 15 kms from the coastal city of Visakhapatnam.

One of the best locations to run away from your office and chillax in the sun.

Right on one of the largest coastlines in the country sets a beautiful heaven called Yarada beach. Despite of being just 25 kms from Vizag, this beach is quite and unadulterated. The beach is surrounded by hills on three sides. What makes this beach a perfect get away for much in love couples is Dolphin’s Nose Lighthouse which sits atop Black Mores Hill in the short distance. There is mostly no crowd which works perfectly for the couples who wants to enjoy the uninterrupted view of the sea in each other’s company without any glares and gazing from the strangers. To make your visit even more special you can throw in some snacks in the picnic basket and have your own party on top of the hill under the clear blue sky while looking over the gleaming ocean waves lapping against the mountains.

Beaches in Andhra Pradesh are seldom spoken of. Yarada is just 15km from Vishakhapatnam and is a glorious escape for those looking forward to enjoy a pristine, uninterrupted coastline. This golden sand beach is surrounded by lush green hills on three sides and by Bay of Bengal on the fourth side. Witnessing sunrise and sunset from this gleaming stretch of golden sand is a rewarding experience.
