For those who like playing golf, the Army Golf Club in Kalimpong is where you would want to be. This golf club offers players a 9 hole course that lies 4000 feet above sea level. The course is challenging due to the hilly terrain. This can cause a misjudgment of the target hole and one may end up either being short of the hole or further from it. The weather in Kalimpong is pleasant and thus this makes golfing here a must try. The Army Golf Club is the pride of Kalimpong that lies around 50 kilometres away from the town of Darjeeling. Go about 15 minutes further and one will reach the Durpin Monastery.
