Aniket Gupta

Photography came to me recently, since I started traveling because of my profession. I’m a doctor and started my job as part of a medical relief camp that are set up at remote places affected by floods, landslides, avalanches etc. Currently I’m in the beautiful and still untouched Northern part of Sikkim, at a place called Thangu. The small town is at a height of 15,000 ft, in the shadows of the last of The Great Himalayan Ranges. Just a few kilometres drive and you enter into the picturesque and completely different terrain of The Tibetan Plateau, the only part of the plateau that is a part of India. Till my next assignment, I will continue to capture the many facades that Sikkim has to offer and also do my duty as a Doctor.
