Travelling has been a passion from a very young age, credit goes to my parents, as they have been taking me across various parts of the Indian sub-continent, which I believe strongly implanted the idea of travelling in my mind. For me, travelling is a way of life. It is something that gives me an intense sense of freedom and positive thought flow. It has taught me to engage and connect really well with people. As I travel, I get exposed to new people, cultures and lifestyles; with all this newness in life, in turn has helped me gain deep insights about life. I have gained the skill to get a deeper understanding about things from travelling, during which I get immersed into the surroundings and think peacefully. It also helps me get more creative. It has made me more independent in life. In this way, I have learnt numerous important aspects through travelling and will keep learning further more. More to that, I strongly believe, photography and travelling go hand-in-hand. Photography piqued my interest in my early teens when I was on a trip with family and my dad was explaining me the nuances of basic photography; like framing, subject positioning, point of view, effects of light, etc. With all this in proper coherence, once I saw the photograph my dad had captured gave me a rush; it was a magical feeling. That was the moment, I decided to go ahead with photography as my passion. I believe that photography is all about life. I am constantly in awe of things around me and the nature surrounding them, and this makes me deeply appreciate this art. I regard each photograph to have a story and it evokes an empathising emotion in me each time I recount that story. It is this belief that keeps the power of photography alive for me.
