Jugni, a Delhi-based startup that aims at providing safe and personalized travel experiences to women, focuses on creating trips that end with happy memories for all travelers. The two men behind the company believe that a journey is almost entirely its people, and rather than fixating on destinations or profitability, they foremost make sure that their groups have an agreeable time. Passionate travelers themselves, they also take the inputs of their groups into account so as to create an optimal and customized itinerary. Jugni—literally meaning a female firefly—currently does offbeat locations, international tours, and weekend getaways among other things, besides constantly expanding its destination base. They don’t take more than 12-14 people in a group, so it really just feels like a gang of friends out on vacation. The team is responsible, delivers on its claims, is open to feedback, and most importantly, makes sure that women have a fun and satisfactory time. With the best intentions of travelers at heart, Jugni is more of an experience than an organization.
