Mira Nencheva, writer, photographer, wanderer, was born and raised in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2001 she immigrated in Canada where she lived for over 12 years. Graduated Fine Arts at the Photography Department in Concordia University, Montreal. Since July 2013, she is sailing around the world and living aboard a 38 feet Leopard catamaran Fata Morgana with her husband and two teenage kids. Their boat, powered strictly by the wind, has been transformed into a completely off-grid vessel with solar panels, lithium batteries and a water-maker thus allowing the crew to pursue freedom, adventure and knowledge as cheaply as possible. Their journey is documented in a travel-adventure blog @ thelifenomadik.com where Mira is publishing stories and pictures.
