With over 10 years of experience as a food and travel writer, cooking instructor and speaker, I founded the nonprofit organization Go Eat Give. Our mission is to encourage people to learn about the real culture and not just be a tourist. I lead volunteer, cultural & culinary tours to north India, Bali, Cuba, Macedonia, Belize & a few other destination. The 7-14 day tours are designed for adults looking for the study abroad experience without sacrificing comfort and luxury. We stay at locally owned hotels, eat authentic food, take hands-on lesson and spend a lot of time with the natives. A portion of proceeds always goes back into the communities we visit.
