UB Hawthorn has been aimlessly wandering the world since 2007, living for three years in South Asia and the rest of the time in different parts of North America and Europe. He edits The Mindful Word journal of engaged living where he publishes his transformative travel-living stories. He also writes for various other magazines and websites on a freelance basis. He’s fundraising to build schools in the developing world through The Mindful Word's Build to Learn initiative—10 percent of the proceeds from the sale of this book (and all The Mindful Word’s books) will go towards enabling children to access greater educational opportunities.
