HotelGangtok is a beautiful hill town and the capital of the north-eastern state of Sikkim. This is one place which many tourists like to combine along with a visit to Darjeeling. The combined trip of Darjeeling-Gangtok is a common recipe when people think about visiting this part of the country. This is mainly because of the proximity of the two places as well as easy access. And while in Gangtok, tourists visit several other places including the wonderland of Yumthang Valley in North Sikkim and Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass in East Sikkim, Pelling in West Sikkim etc. Check out this detailed itinerary below for more information.
- Golden Star Continental Hotel & Spa (3-star) in Gangtok, or similar
- Lachung Deezong in Lachung, or similar
- Hotel White Yak (3-star) in Darjeeling, or similar
- On arrival at NJP railway station, meet our representative
- Get a transfer to Gangtok
- Check-in to the hotel and relax
- Spend the remaining day at your ease
- Overnight stay in Gangtok
- Post breakfast, start for a half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400ft), which is only 32 km away from Gangtok
- Later, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir
- In the evening, shop around and spend some time at leisure
- Night halt in Gangtok
- Note: In the case of bad weather condition, landslide or political movement, or if Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir remain closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing
- After breakfast, pick up from the hotel in Gangtok
- Drive to Lachung (altitude 8610 ft and 117 km)
- En route, visit Singhik Viewpoint (depends on weather condition), Seven Sisters Waterfalls, Naga Waterfalls
- Night halt at Lachung
- After breakfast, leave for Yumthang
- You can also take an optional tour to Zero Point (INR 3000 to INR 3500 approx. per car extra)
- On the way from Yumthang, visit the famous hot spring known for its medicinal curative properties
- Have lunch at Lachung hotel
- After having lunch, return to Gangtok
- Overnight halt in Gangtok
- This morning after breakfast, head out for a flower show
- Visit the Directorate Of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sunday), Dro-Dul Chorten, Bakthang Falls, Gunjan Monastery and Banjakri Falls
- After sightseeing, get a transfer to Darjeeling
- On arrival, check-in to the hotel and relax
- Overnight stay in Darjeeling
- Early morning at 4.00 am, visit Tiger Hill (sunrise point over Mt. Khanchendzongna)
- On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop
- After breakfast, head out for a half-day city tour
- Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple
- The afternoon is free for shopping and leisurely activities
- Night halt in Darjeeling
- After having breakfast, check out from the hotel
- Get a transfer to IXB Airport/NJP Railway Station for your onward journey

30% of the tour cost has to be paid in advance to confirm the package.
30% of the tour cost has to be paid after the confirmation voucher is shared.

Up to 30 days before the date of departure: 25% of the tour cost will be charged or initial bookings amount
Between 15 days to 29 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost or initial booking amount whichever is higher
Less than 10 days before departure: 100% of the tour cost will be charged
