Day 1

Early morning we started of my Bengaluru. It's better to start of early in the morning to avoid traffic. Bengalurean knows this better than anyone, we took the bannrerghatta road and entered NICE road. The road is smooth and you wouldn't feel when the ride gets over do wear a jacket to avoid catching cold after paying the toll we took the long road and reached kanakpura.

Had a quick stop for some "chai" and biscuit and meanwhile on our way we found the group of riders riding to same destination though we wanted to reach early so we didn't interact much and left the place. Nearing to the destination the GPS really helped us in finding the destination and soon we reached the Maddur junction thereafter the Shivanasamundram water falls board can be seen and one can be guided to take the road and we entered the gate and were guided by the guard for the way towards falls. The place has two water falls one is gaganachukki falls and the other one is bharachukki falls. The barachukki falls is mostly preferred by every one first but we went to gaganachukki falls and boy we were amazed to see the place with less crowd and the waterfalls were just amazing to see though one should visit in monsoon time but in off season too it was treat for eyes.

The inter road connecting the two falls just reminds of the backwaters of Kerala. Peaceful and captivating the place is secluded and treat for the eyes. On our way back the journey was as exciting as it was in the beginning and new as we took the different route to head back and it was already 2 by time we left the place to head back. We had a stop for lunch in Maddur just outside the city one can find the many restaurants we tried the Shivsadan restaurant and were pretty much exhausted by the bike ride. The place offers good meals and one can have paan if they are paan lover just outside the place there is small paan shop and we had South Indian thali and were full. After a brief rest we made the move towards Bengaluru we took the NH275 towards Bengaluru and the ride was smooth but the back will hurt for the regular riders it's not a problem but for new riders it might hurt for few days. Okay enough of the reading enjoy some of the pictures taken at location
