About Agatti

The tiniest Union Territory of India, Lakshadweep is an archipelago consisting of 12 atolls, three reefs and five submerged banks. Agatti Island is the largest one of the group and is said to be discovered by the Arab traveller, Ibn Batuta. Being an eco-sensitive zone, Agatti prohibits rampant commercialisation. There are only two hotels available here: Agatti Island Beach Resort (AIBER) and Sea Shells Beach Resort.
