Jagdalpur, in Chhattisgarh, is the last place you would expect to indulge in an adventure sport, but you will be delightfully surprised once you are here. The bungee jumping location is actually situated on the top of a mountain, so the view when you jump is mind-blowing. This is also a place where bungee jumping comes the cheapest, which is probably an incentive for you to travel all the way down to Jagdalpur in a supposedly exotic quest. Experience it to believe it.Location: JagdalpurPrice: Rs. 300Height: 30 mtrs.Website: N/A

Also known as Vizag, this city is often considered as the best and most popular tourist attraction of Andhra Pradesh. Starting from lush green sceneries to pristine beaches, temples to lakes, beautiful hill ranges and caves, this city has it all for you. There are a number of tourist attractions to keep you attracted here. The Araku Valley and Kailasa Giri are the abode for natural beauty. The Borra Caves are examples of colorful cave formations. The Ramakrishna and Yarada Beaches are also must visit mainly due to the clean beaches and clear waters along with the beauty of the surroundings. This city is rightly a place with cultural and religious diversity. The Visakha Museum and the Submarine Museum are popular too. The later is the first museum to be built in a submarine in Asia.

The train to Araku valley from Vizag passes through one of the most scenic routes in India. The train passes through 50+ tunnels, several bridges offering amazing valley views, and multiple curves exposing the entire train. There is only one train which passes through this route once per day. The train starts from Vizag to 7.05 in the morning. Although it was too early for me (being a night owl), I managed to reach the station on time to catch this train.

Warangal is a land famous for its architectural feats. Though not really a tourist spot, the ancient city has multitudes of experiences to offer by way of its beautiful temples, wildlife sanctuary, a grand fort and a serene lake to satisfy the thirst of travellers. The most famous spot is the star-shaped, 800-year-old Thousand Pillared Temple with its uniquely carved stone pillars. Warangal is replete with temples such as the Ramappa temple, Sri Vidya Saraswathi Shani temple, Sri Veeranarayana temple, the most beautifully located being the Bhadrakali Temple. The exquisite carvings, arches and pillars of the Warangal fort are noteworthy along with its South Indian architectural style. The turquoise blue manmade lake of Pakhal amidst the lush greens forests is where you want to be for the most breathtaking sceneries. If you’re visiting during September or October, you may get to witness the vivid festival of flowers celebrated by the Hindu women, Bathukamma. You may not find the most opulent hotels, but there are decent ones to spend a night at, such as City Grand or Grand Gayathri. Try the local eateries for their lip-smacking ghee idlis and dosas.

Who wouldn't want to touch the nature from the closest. Chhattisgarh has abundance of nature just the way to reach the right spot is unknown or should I say not much advertised. Many of you would be unaware of this place, just a 100 km drive from raipur would take you to a whole new experience. Barnawapara wildlife sanctuary is spread in a small diameter of 30 km. We started off from raipur airport at 09:30 am and took NH 53 there is a left turn from patewa. As you drive for another 10 km you get to see lush green lands and lucky you may be to spot a few wildlife. As you drive straight you reach a forest dept. Check post which charges you 25 rs per person and 100 rs per vehicle. Don't throw away this reciept as this would be checked at many places. From the check post you can either continue to jungle safari or go nd rest your self in a hotel. Please make prior online or telephonic bookings or else you won't find a place to settle. There are a few resorts like muba's machan, Moira resort, dev Hills resort or you can choose the forest guest house or chhattisgarh tourism hotel. We went without booking but were lucky enough to find a place at muba's machan. Wonderful resort with tree houses to live on and a big ground to accommodate various sports, camp fire etc. They charge 4500 per couple including all meals, we were 4 in number so we paid 6700 for a single room, dont forget to ask for discount. Talking of the jungle safari it starts at 6am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. You can either go in on your own vehicle or hire a gypsy for 1200 rs and 200 rs for guide. Gypsy is anytime preferred. You might not come across many wildlife animals as this place has got limited species like wild boar, deer, byson, monkeys, Peacock nd a few leopards, but the experience of such dense forest is amazing. If you are going in winters dont forget to bring along lots of winter wear as the night temperature is aroung 4-5 degrees. We did a evening safari and a morning safari. It is a wonderful destination for all age groups and families. Muba's machaan is recommended for the stay. People in raipur should atleast visit once and experience it themselves. Enjoy the trip people...
