New Delhi - Abu Dhabi - Dubai

Dubai is all about Dazzle and Bling. From most expensive cars to 7 star hotels it has all. You need to plan your trip carefully else you will end up spending more money from what you expected.
We Started our trip from Abu Dhabi. I would prefer to book direct flight to Abu Dhabi instead of going through Dubai. In case flights to Abu Dhabi are costly and you want to do round trip from Dubai to AbuDhabi there are 2 options to travel.
1. Direct Taxi: this is time saving but costs around 320 AED.
2. Metro-Bus-Taxi: This is time consuming but will cost 120AED in total. Take metro from Dubai airport to Ibn Batuta Mall. From there you can take direct bus to Yas Island or you can take taxi from inn Batuta mall to Abu Dhabi. There are free shuttles also from bin Batuta mall to Yes Island.
Day 1: Yas Island
Hotel: Crowne Plaza
We booked directly from Yas Island website to get deal that includes stay and access to theme parks. It costs around 1100 AED for a couple with 1 kid. Taxis as costly in Yas Island so take free shuttles that go across Yas Island. They have shuttle from Airport also.
Warner Brother Studios
If you have kids then they will surely love this place. It has rides that are enthralling, food courts and places to shop.
Next we went to Yes Mall nearby to satiate our food buds and do some shopping. Shopping here is costly as compared to Dubai.
Our last stop was Yes Marina and beach to relax and see nightlife.
What we missed: Ferrari World
Day 2: Dubai
Hotel: Mercury Suites
We took direct taxi from yas island to Ibn Batuta mall and metro from there to reach out hotel. We booked Mercury suites (recommended) which is next to Dubai Internet City metro Station.
Hotel Tip: Book your hotel close to metro to save time and money.
In evening, we went to JBR beach. This is most happening place in Dubai. Here you can find amazing beach front restaurants and walking pavements to stroll and relax.
Day 3:
We went to Dubai Mall as this is biggest mall. It was 20 minutes from our hotel and we took direct metro. If you are planning to visit aquarium, Burj khalifa and fountain show. All these are in Dubai mall itself.
Fountain Show: This is must to see twice. Once at the time of sunset around 6.30pm and once in night around 9pm. This is only free thing in Dubai to see and do. Reserve a nice spot in advance as once show starts it gets crowded.
Aquarium and Burj Khalifa can be done together. Visit Burj Khalifa at time of sunset to get mesmerising view of Dubai. There is nothing much on top except view so if you want you can skip.
If you are with kids, aquarium is must to visit as it is very big and kids will love it.
Day 4:
We went to kite beach in morning. There is no direct metro to this beach. You have to take taxi only. It is bit far from main Dubai but beautiful beach to visit. You can visit this in night also if you have time.
After relaxing in afternoon, we went for Desert Safari which we booked in advance. There are lots of packages for desert safari but almost all of them are same. Desert Safari is must experience in Dubai and it includes meals as well. At night we went to Atlantis Palm to checkout night view of that area. You need atleast 5-6 hours for desert safari as it is in outskirts. Do try ATV ride, though it's not included in package.
Day 5:
If you are water lover then can spend whole day in Atlantis Palm water park. We instead visited Future Museum and Dubai Frame and then went for some shopping. We went to Diera (old Dubai) and visited gold souk and Meena bazar for some local shopping. Try dates chocolates and other dry fruits here. You can also try boat ride for 1dirham to experience how it used to be in old times in Dubai.
Day 6:
Leave for Delhi with early morning flight.
