It's a paradise in Amritsar, where you will spend full day with full masti aur bharpoor khaana. It is one stop adda for punjabi culture where you will get every feel of punjab they used to have.
We will take you to the journey of Sadda Pind through the eyes of 2itchyfeets.
It is just 7-8 km away from the religious Golden Temple. When you reach Sadda Pind you will find the ticket counter in which per entry costs Rs 750 in which you get the access to enter the same followed my immense activities like games, shows and free massage(my favorite) and unlimited lunch/dinner.
As we entered we saw water pouring over matkas which looked fantastic.
we proceeded and saw this "I Amritsar". Don't forget to take your camera it's a picturesque place altogether.
Yaar fir ek kheere waala dikhta hai aur garmi mein jo kate hue kheere ka mazaa hai na, it has no words. Fir while grabbing a bite of cucumber see Magic Show (a complete set of deceiving tricks).
Fir Makki Di Roti aur Sarson Da Saag aur unko khilaane waali cool aunties. Shayad iske bina punjab aana adhoora hai. They will be making fresh roti and hot saag (likhte hue bhi muh se paani aa raha hai) and Butter milk (chaach). Don't worry it's just the started to boost your metabolism.
Agar bachpan mein aapne "stepu" khela ho toh aap yeh picture dekhke bachpan yaad aa jaayega.
They have like small small houses which shows different culture of Punjab like Choti banane waali aunty, Turban banane waale uncle, Geet gaane waali Saas and what not more.
Ab yaar main thak gya hun, yeh toh khatam hi nhi ho raha.
Fir aaye the music world of Punjab. A complete music lover i sang tujhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam playing harmonium and dholak.
We also saw film theater there, people watching Baahubali 2. So it was all full of memories, Cycling show, maut ka kuan and what not.
Now we got exhausted ab shayad khaana hi shaanti de sakta hai and then you will find the sumptuous lunch jo hila ke rakh denge aapke taste buds ko. Iske baad fir maine Head Massage karwayi Baap re the person who was doing massage slapped on the my head but i was busy sleeping. yaar itna ghumaane itna khilaane aur massage ke baad mujhse kya expect karte ho ki main sounga nhin. Yaar hun toh insaan hi na wo bhi jyada sone waala.
In the evening they have a jhaaki which we didn't see because of other commitments but we heard it's worth watching.
So it was all in our experience of Sadda Pind, we have much more but main thak gya hun likhte likhte, and i want you to see and feel the beauty of Punjab.
