1. Tawang

About :- It is a high altitude (3048 m) town located in the lap of the mighty Himalayas which offers a perfect blend of nature and culture with the second largest monastery in the world after the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet.

Main Attractions :- Galden Namgey Lhatse/ Tawang Monastery, Panga Teng Tso Lake, Bap Teng Kang /Nuranang Waterfalls, Bum La Pass, Sangestar/ Madhuri Lake & Sela Pass.

Best Time :- April to September

How to Reach :- Tezpur is the nearest airport (330 Km) while Rangapara (320 Km) is the nearest rail station.
