Shopping in Thailand is a unique experience that cannot be missed. The MBK Mall in Bangkok is one such place that offers great prices and an incredible range of products. the hustle and bustle of street vendors and shoppers alike create a lively atmosphere that is unique to Thailand's shopping culture.
The mall is spread over seven floors with the ground floor being dedicated to clothes sections in stalls, offering thousands of options to choose from. The ground floor also has food stalls selling fresh fruits, street food options, and coffee shops. On the third floor, shoppers can find shops selling colorful suitcases, bags, and t-shirts, all of which are 1st copies of top brands like Louise Vuitton, Prada, Fendi, and more, with prices ranging from 2k to 4k bhat. I bought a suitcase for 1200 bhat, the pretty pink one that you can see in a picture below.
Another must-visit shopping destination is the Chatuchak weekend market, also known as the J J Market, which offers a vast range of clothes options priced between 100 to 350 baht for dresses, shirts, and more. Chatuchak weekend market is like a treasure trove of fashion finds, where you can score stylish dresses and shirts without breaking the bank.
While shopping, visitors can also try the traditional delicacy of Pad Thai, a dish that is a must-try when in Thailand.
We stayed at Pratunam Bangkok, which is the center. Everything was only 10 to 15 mins away from the hotel we stayed at.
