Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrive in Patna
- Meet and greet our tour representative at the airport and proceed to the hotel for check-in
- Visit attractions like Golghar, Sabhayata Dwar, Gandhi Maidan and Ganga river waterfront
- Visit Bihar Museum and Buddha Smriti Park
- Enjoy shopping/local cuisines at the Maurya Lok, one of the oldest and most famous shopping complexes of Patna/revolving restaurant of Biscomaun Bhawan
- Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 2
- Post breakfast, visit the birthplace of Lord Mahavira, Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Hariharnath Temple and Buddha Relic Stupa
- After coming back from Vaishali, visit Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Bal Leela Sahib and Kangan Ghat
- If you are lucky, you can also have langar at the Gurudwara
- In the evening, enjoy a laser show in the Mangal Talab on the life of Guru Gobind Singh ji
- Return to the hotel in Patna
Day 3
- Early morning after breakfast, leave for Bodh Gaya (110 km)
- See the Mahabodhi Temple and the nearby monasteries like that of Thailand, Cambodian, Japan, Bhutan, Burma and Tibet
- Also, visit the 80-ft Buddha statue
- Check-in to the pre-booked hotel
- Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya
Day 4
- Early morning after breakfast, leave for Rajgir (70 km)
- Traverse through the picturesque Jethian-Gehlaur valley road (the village shown in the movie Dasrath Manjhi - the Mountain Man)
- Visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Griddhakuta Peak, Maniyar Math and Venu Van
- Enjoy a Tonga ride to Ghorakatora Lake, enjoy boating with a picturesque view of the Rajgir hills and the beautiful Buddha Statue
- Check-in to the hotel in Rajgir
- You can visit Pandu Pokhar in the evening for relaxing
- Overnight stay in Rajgir
Day 5
- Early morning, check out from the hotel after breakfast
- Visit Bimbisar Jail, Venu Van, Battleground of Jarasandh and Veerayatan
- Proceed to Nalanda University, Hiuen Tsang Memorial, Kundalpur Jain Temple and Pawapuri
- Continue to Patna Airport
