Haridwar - Barkot (180 km/6 hrs)
Today after breakfast, get a transfer to Barkot
Reach & check-in to the hotel
Relax and have dinner
Barkot is a place of great scenic beauty with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains all around
A magnificent view of the eternal snow peaks of Bandar Punch can be seen from here
Early morning, proceed to Jankichatti via Syanachatti
From here, the trek begins (6 km/3 hrs, one side trek)
Visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna - Shri Yamunotri, situated on the bank of the river
You can hire a pony/palanquin (palki) at your own cost (payment can be made directly)
You can take a holy dip in the Taptkund (hot springs)
Visit Shri Yamunotri Temple for pooja & darshan
Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay
Barkot - Uttarkashi (100 km, 4-5 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi
En route, visit Kashi Vishvanath Temple
Arrive at the hotel in Uttarkashi
Check-in and retire for the night
Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 km/3 hrs, one side drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Gangotri (100 kms/4 hrs)
On arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Uttarkashi

Early morning at 6:00 am, report at the helipad
Fly to Kedarnath and visit Kedarnath Ji Temple which is 500 meters from the helipad for darshan & pooja

Caution: After reaching Kedarnath Ji, if the weather turns unfavourable for flying, it is possible that Heli services will be suspended for the day and will resume the next morning. In this case, overnight stay at Kedarnath may become necessary. Decent accommodation and food are available at Kedarnath Ji at a very nominal cost. You have to carry one change dress as a contingency.
Note: Tours Lounge suggests you visit Kedarnath by chopper for your comfortable transit with additional charges. You may also visit Kedarnath by Trekking/palki/pony from Gaurikund but it will require one more day in the given itinerary.
Guptkashi - Badrinath by Chopta (215 km/6 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath (215 km/8 hrs), one of the most beautiful sites on the whole trip
Enjoy the beautiful drive through medicinal forest
If time permits, you can also visit Mana village, the last border village of India
On arrival, check-in to the hotel and relax

Badrinath - Rudraprayag (165 km/6 hrs)
After early morning darshan and breakfast, proceed to Rudraprayag
En route, visit Nandprayag, Karnprayag and Vashist Cave

Pilgrims need to carry only handbags as suitcases cannot be carried in the helicopter. We encourage using helicopter travel bag.
All temples in Chardham are located at high altitude areas. Pilgrims are advised to carry a small oxygen bottle with them as a precaution. It is available at medical shops.
Fitness: All pilgrims should be physically fit. It is better to do some jogging and other light exercises as you prepare for this journey.
In these locations, the temperature will fall to 10 degree Celsius or less at night. Therefore, pilgrims are advised to carry woollen clothes.
Photography: Still cameras/portable video cameras are allowed in Himalayan ranges but not inside the temple.
Please do not attempt to take pictures inside the temples.
Communication: Although all private mobile phones have coverage, BSNL mobile is better in most of the places.
