Built on a tea estate, this retreat is located in Bir, a charming hamlet nestled in the lap of the Dhauladhar. Luscious lawns, furry companions, cottages and rooms with modern amenities and the view of the tea garden is enough to bring about the tranquility one looks for, during a short vacay.

How to Reach

By Road: 

  • 2 hours from Dharamshala
  • 6 hours from Jammu
  • 5 hours from Kullu

By Bus: Direct buses from Delhi, Dharamsala, Chandigarh
By Air: Nearest airport is Gaggal which is 55 kms away and takes 2 hours by car.
By Train: Nearest railway station is Pathankot which is 4 hrs away.

Itinerary
  • Check-in to the retreat by 12 pm.
  • Eat lunch and rest a while.
  • Wake up and relish high-tea at 4 pm.
  • Follow it with a trip to a Monastery (optional); this is also a Buddhist institution of learning and the landing ground.
  • Return by 7pm and enjoy a cozy bonfire.
  • Eat dinner by 9pm and retire for the night.
  • Wake up early and head for Paragliding (optional) from Billing at 7 am.
  • Return to the retreat and eat breakfast by 11 am
  • Refresh, relax and eat lunch by 1pm
  • Head to the shop in the Colony.
  • High-tea will be served at 5pm
  • Post high-tea take a peep into the retreat’s Tea Museum.
  • Enjoy a cozy bonfire at 7pm
  • Eat dinner by 9pm and retire for the night.
  • Wake up at the crack of dawn
  • Start at 7 am for your hike to Ahju Fort/ the waterfall (optional) with packed breakfast.
  • Return and check-out by 11 am
