Amidst the scenic eastern slopes of the Western Ghats, away from hustle of the markets and popular tourist attractions, lay the beautiful town of Bylakuppe (second largest Tibetian settlement in India).I drove past the vast fields of maize and residential complex to reach the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery (inaugurated by Dalai Lama this year), on time for the afternoon prayers.The rhythm and symphony of the chants was truly overwhelming. The landscape, the grandiose of the monastery, the architecture, the prayer flags and the prayer wheels, together creates an ambiance and aura of peace and positivety.An unforgettable trip and a complete replenishment of the mind and soul.P.S.
