Neelkanth Hotel Chopta. I too stayed at this place. It is not luxury hotel but good to go if you are not too choosy.

There are lodges with very basic facilities. Chopta is inside a reserved area and there is no settlement there. People from nearby area man those lodges for around 6 months. It is very difficult to get any place to stay during winters.

Please check on Oyo they are offering discounts also look at mmt and Goibibo. If you have a group and good budget, you can look on Airbnb
