I know two different options to Ooty: 1) Delhi to Bangalore - flight journey. And then from Bangalore to Ooty through car or you can book a bus. 2) Delhi to Coimbatore - flight journey. And then from there you can go through car or can book a bus.

Nopes the journey will be very tiresome and the roads are not conventional

There's no specific resort that is catering exclusively for honeymoon couples but you can check between Alila Diwa, Taj Exotica and the W hotel. Stunning views, mind-blowing suites and cosy candlelit dinners all available in abundance :)

You can go with Taj Exotica. My friend went for her honeymoon and they prefer this.

You cant get everything smooth, certainly not in Spiti. Roads are opened from mid of May, so you can visit now. Snowfall happened last week and it made it difficult to go to different places. This is the time, you would get to see proper snowfall and snowcapped mountains. Shimla Kufri Narkand Tapri Pangi Nako Lapcha Tabo Kaza If you want so called Best Time to visit, then go around August, roads are decent and wont stuck by snow. But expect to see very little snow.

I recommend the shivamoga murudeshwar route, being monsoon the malnad belt is a feast to the eyes. From Gokarana do visit Yana for another scenic drive and the rock formations will leave you stunned.

I visited in June end... It was hot weather during daytime and cold during night. The clear sky and rusty mountains... sandy road and drive on the river bed... Experienced these things. Let me know if you require more details and itinerary

Do research properly about the place where you want to travel, like weather, means to commute, places to stay and explore. keep your budget nominal to avoid any extra load on your wallet n try to go for off beat destinations where you will face less crowd n tariffs will be reasonable.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Pick places that are unexplored and make sure you have done your homework. I suggest less explored places because there is a beauty to it of being less crowded or commercialized.
