You can go for weekend trip to Sanchi, Mandu or Omkareshwar. These all places are near Indore.

Some of the good places are 1. Ujjain
2. Omkareshwar temple
3. Patalpani falls
4. Narmada Ghat, Maheshwar
5. Some palaces are there at Madu
All these places are very good say for a single day or a 2 day trip.
