If you like snowfall and winter, this is the best time to head to Dharamshala. If you are into trekking, Kareri lake trek / Triund trek can be done. Guest houses and hotels are available, so this can be a good time to visit.

If you are looking for an escape in the cool environs and beat the scorching summer heat, then March to mid-July is the best time to visit Dharamshala . These months are perfect to take a family or group trip to the hills as the temperatures range somewhere between 22-degree Celsius and 35-degree Celsius.
