If u like snow fall and snow trekking then u should go between 15 dec to 15 jan otherwise post mansoon ( october )very good season for chopta temperature between 5° to 15 °c

There are various trips on Tripoto written about Chopta. u can visit anytime :) Try to do a small trek to deora tal if possible as well.
