I would suggest you to visit Andaman as I prefer beautiful beaches more than enormous hills. P.S. : I love hills for trekking.

I prefer Andaman. Winter: December to February (20°c - 30°c) The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off limits to visitors.

Thats a funny question Bro ... it's the best in india ... do it in North bay islands if you love to see corals ... do it in Havelock jetty bay if you love to see marine life.... both are the best and worth ... 3.5k per person .. book it through the hotel guy where you would stay .. that's easy and for sure booking ...
Andaman would be better now. NorthEast will be too chilly now.

December is the best time to visit North-east India as most of the time in the year it remains rainy. The sky is bluest and the weather is clear on that time. Don’t make your trip scattered covering many places but stick to some good places to visit. The road conditions are not that good so don’t go by the time as Google says. Most of the roads in the hills are one way and sometimes the traffic halts during passing the vehicle coming from the other way. Make sure about the inner line permits in some states and make your plan accordingly. The whole north-east is surrounded by untouched beauty, but I will point out some famous places you can visit during the time. However, that depends on which state you are visiting. Manas National Park Majuli Island Umiam Lake Nohkalikai Fall Living Root Bridge And If you are planning to visit Nagaland in December then don’t miss out the Hornbill festival. Happy Travelling!!
