Hello I'm on a solo trip to Gaumukh... I just want to know whether I will be allowed to pitch a tent in Tapovan and camp over there for a night...?

Hi David, It is already very cold in the Gaumukh region and it is even snowing. Yes you can camp at Tapovan, but you will need permit to go there, you can get the permit from Uttarkashi.
