Hey, Vietnam during Feb and March is beautiful. I stayed there for 2 months. These are my top recommendations. 1. Hanoi
2. Sapa
3. Halong Bay (Cast Away Package)
4. Tam -Coc, Ninh Binh 5. Phong Nha Now since your trip is for 8 days I wouldn't recommend anymore. These places are jaw-droppingly beautiful and all in North Vietnam. I hope this helped.
PS- Go by yourself and stay in hostels. You will make amazing friends.
