You can actually rent a scooter , depending on how comfortable are you driving it.
There are state govt buses that you can take from panjim bust stand. Also, you can rent a scooty or two wheeler from panjim

1) Go to the Panjim busstand and take a bus that goes to Panjim. This is probably the cheapest mode of transportation but is also quite slow. 2) Panjim has a lot of motorbike taxis known as pilots. These are cheap and fast and very reliable. However if you have luggage to carry this won't be suitable. 3) In and around Panjim busstand you will also find taxis and rickshaws which can ferry you to your location in Arambol. However this will be quite expensive. 4) Lastly, you can arrange to rent a car or a scooty for the duration of your stay. This is probably the most convenient but decently expensive as well.

Cheapest option is the bus. Cabs are very expensive in Goa, so I'd recommend a rented vehicle.
