I liked bhimtal during my travel around these uttarakhand area.
i stay a night at boutique suite of sojourn by the lake.
try it,it has fav view of hills and lake.
But not much thing to do nearby except lake activity, so 1night is enough.
i hv posted some pic in my trip,check it.

The lake itself is bigger than Nainital but the crowd is low, so it is like a calm place
