Yes it's completely fine. it has around 6600 steps total ( up and down). take rest in between and the double decker bridge is worth visiting. u can even stay in homestay over there if you want to rest there for a day.

March is a good time. but if your luck is good enough you should also able to see the beauty of falls there too.
