Hi Raghav, I have covered this route before, and i will suggest you not to plan in a day. No doubts Roads are in very good condition but it is a very long route(more than 1300km) hence i recommend you to break your journey somewhere in North Karnataka (Dharwad / Dandeli are good option). If you time i would say make it 3 day drive and cover some amazing drive routes on your way to Mumbai.
