The Rohtang Pass is 51 km from Manali town. During the month of March, the roads to Rohtang Pass are blocked due to heavy snow showers from the month of January and even in March unexpected snow showers are experienced. Iit is unsafe to travel on these roads as they are covered with heavy snow. So it is better if you plan your trip in late April or May

Depends on the road blockages so, I’d suggest to plan it later in April or may if it’s possible. The roads are clear and safe during that time also you’ll find snow there in that season too.

Best time to visit Rohtang Pass is October. Coz from October the snow fall starts. So u can experience the snow n enjoy the climate.

For adventure yes. But not many people wiling to take you to that place. Shuttles on the way to kaza and spiti would be able to take you but coming back would be a big big big issue. plus in my view Rohtang is overrrated. you can go to spiti alternately.

The best time to visit Rohtang Pass is from May through October, when the road to Ladakh and Spiti is open. The weather of Rohtang Pass remains ideal to visit in May-June and October-November.
