One of the popular historical fort 2000 years old, it is a great place to trek. From Pune till Sinhagad you can reach by can or bus. The trek is open from 5am till 6pm. With just completed monsoon season you get to view Khadakwasla dam and one side of beautiful sahyadri ranges. Kaundinya eshwar temple, Rajarams tomb, Kalyan darwaza, Amruteshwar temple and Torna fort view.

Its great hike and pulls many young folks. monsoon is the peak time, but it brings additional risk of loose stone falling.
Do the trek at morning time. there have casea of trekkers losing their way.
