I'm planning too. Hampi season starts from October to February. As it's still beginning I suggest to go in November.

The winter season is the best time to visit Hampi. The temperature starts to lower by October, and a cold climate will have set in by November. These pleasant days are perfect to tour around the ruins, many of which can be reached only by foot or on a bicycle. With the temperature hovering around 20 0C, this season sees a lot of tourists to Hampi. The Hampi Utsav and the annual chariot festival are organized during this time. The winter season lasts until the end of February.

Best time will be after 10th November..as there will no festival rush and weather will be best

Yes it's a good time to visit hampi ...and also pre book your stay as the crowd is more this time..and keep at least 4 days fir hampi as there's so much to see
