Yes, its safe. You can try Moustache Hostel too, my friend is there, she is having a good time. You can try it out, the views are good and people too.

Yeah, these hostels are safe. Moreover, you can opt for 4beds dorm instead of a 6 or 10 dorm. Also, there are some hostels which have female dorms. I guess Live free hostel has female dorms as well.
