Darjeeling is a beautiful place to visit all throughout the year except during rainy season. it is a perfect refuge from the summer heat in the hot season. the various spots while you are there includes the Japanese pea pagoda, Himalayan zoological Park, ghum monastery, Japanese temples, batasia loop, Tibetan refugee camp. you can also relax and enjoy the scenic beauty or indulge in some local shopping in chowrasta. do try some authentic local delicacies in the heritage restaurants like the Keventer's and Glenary's. one can also enjoy the heritage toy train ride. if you have time, then you can also visit nearby areas like kurseong etc.
