Yes for Meghalaya you can come straight to Shillong via flight or Guwahati airport is also nearby .Taking Shillong as an center point there are many places to visit such as Laitlum Canyons just near to Shillong. Day -1 , Next day if you booked hired taxi or shared one can visit Cherapunjee , maximum falls like nohkalikai falls, rainbow , wei sawdong falls are located over here and make halt at very beautiful resort named Sai Mika resort. Double Decker living root bridges can be also checked along the way. Next you might travel to Dawki which is the clearest river that you see transparent water do some boating and make halt at homestay or riverside beach camping. Nongkhnum Island can be checked on the way return also , its Asia's second largest river Island . On the way to return one can take the Jowai -shillong road to visit the extremely beautiful Krangshuri falls and mawlynnong .

Guwahati is nearest Railway station or nearest airport to Capital of Meghalaya: Shilong.
1st Day:- Reach Guwahati and go to Shilong (Takes approx 3 hrs to reach)
2nd Day:- Shilong sightseeing. Lot of places are there to visit like Elephant fall, Shilong Peak point etc.
3rd Day:- Go to Cherapunji and on the way visit Seven sister fall, Nohkalikai waterfall, Mawsumi Cave etc & then double decker root bridge trek (if you are fit coz this trek takes 2 hr for one way)
4th Day:- Go to dawki and see the crystal clear blue water of umgot River.
5th Day :- Return to Guwahati via shilong.
Maya bay in Phi phi island 🌴. Most beautiful island. But I am not sure now its open to public or not. Few months back govt of thailand closed it to public. You need to check that.

I will suggest you to visit hilly area's in north region like Shimla, Kullu & Manali or North East region both of them will have pleasent atmosphere while other regions will have either have a high temperature like as in Rajasthan or heavy rains like as in southern states.

No solo packages are there but you can use as a solo for some.packages and you can go without any twin person. But then you have to manage all itinerary alone .

day2 - visit south Goa palolem , Candolim and other beaches.. visit churches and old Goa too... spend evening in cruise
day3- do water sports at island...
day4- Dudhsagar waterfalls (must visit)
you can also spend two days in North Goa . if it's Wednesday in between di visit to anjuna flee market

It's quite difficult to find any shared vehicle there as the solo or budget travelers prefer roadways buses and group/family travelers hire a car.

It depends which trip you select. Few trips are totally free but for other you have to pay some amount. If you take someone on trip then that person has to pay more amount which is also discounted as they say.
