Tickets can be purchased at the counter as well. Hey ! here are few suggestions- • firstly, chose which region of the country you want to explore and then decide the place. • travel during off season, but even its peak you need to make advance bookings • for flight- book ticket in advance (atleast a month) and Opt for public transport if travelling by bus or shared taxi or train • for accommodation, checkout the backpacking hostels (they are fun & economical dorms) - Zostel, Moustache, Gostops, The Hosteller, Shalom etc to name a few! • for Hotels- checkout MMT, Booking.com or directly call the hotel for booking & you can negotiate the prices (it works)
• Try local or street delicacies in food
• Most importantly, read about the place you wanna travel and create a rough travel roadmap for ease!

May June is good season for Kheerganga Trek. Total Trek distance is 12 kms. You have to reach Kasol by public bus if you want to travel in budget. You can stay in Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib which is close to Kasol.
