It is open right now... we were passing by aamby valley day before yesterday and saw few cars heading inside. You have to pre-book to visit and stay there. We asked at the entry reception out of curiosity and confirmed it.

During April, weather maybe fine or cold. Also it may shower too, everything depending on your chance. Take winter clothes and also carry umbrella and waterproof shoes with you.
