More than the places, I suggest you not to miss the toy train ride from Ooty(Udhagamandalam railway station).It takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Nilgiri hills.
Visit a tea factory,oil factory, chocolate store. They walk you through the process and there are some trail sessions too.
Must visit places in Ooty is in every travelogue. But these mini experience in a place like Ooty will stay with you forever.

Hello Gaurav ,I will be happy to answer your travel query🙂 . *comparing Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh provides good facilities you too early governance and easy transportation.
*the most unique thing about Himachal is the small village Malana located in district Kullu on the way to Kasol situated in beautiful Parvati valley. *there are some homemade vines only found in Himachal they are angoorie,Noorie etc. Himachal Pradesh has a huge list of adventure activities but Uttarakhand too is developing in it .there are some great adventure activities like river rafting ,still water sports ,bungee jumping, river crossing paragliding ,skiing , cabel car way and much more. *Himachal is also much known for its handloom and handicrafts.concluding from all the points mentioned above there is no way one can defy the fact that exploring Himachal Pradesh is much better choice if you haven't visited both Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.and there's nearly same temperature and same conditions in both the state in October .

Yes you can travel in case of heavy snowfall they sometimes rarely stop the trek of triund. You can witness snowfall and chills keep extra warm clothes. Yes you can visit dalhousie but it will take whole day trip so keep extra days for Dalhousie. I written 2 articles related to Mcleod Ganj maybe they are helpful to you.

Best Time to Visit Ladakh is in Summer (April - June) When the climate here is pleasant, with the snow from winter all thawed. During the rest of the year, Manali-Leh highway is not functional and the only operational way is the Srinagar-Leh highway which also gets affected by occasional landslides.

Hi, It'd be great if you can clarify your question further. Mahuli Trek near Asangaon is the highest point in Thane District. Make Mahuli Village your base camp and begin this one-day trek. You can board a bus to Mahuli Village from Asangaon bus stand or choose to cover the distance of 7.5 km on foot. And from Mahuli Village, begin your trek to Mahuli Fort which will take you around 3-4 hours to complete.

Would suggest you to carry thermal wear, furry jackets, thick socks and boots as it would be snowing in Manali at that time of the year and the temperature would be very low. You may also want to carry shawls, scarfs or caps for the same reason.

Christmas season is an amazing time to travel in Australia. I have visited Sydney, Melbourne, Whitsundays and Cairns. Make sure to make all bookings in advance as good hotels in Cairns and Whitsundays tend to get fully booked. Do the Great ocean Road and Philip Island Penguin parade trip from Melbourne. Watch a show in the amazing Sydney opera house. If you are an adventure enthusiast we also did skydiving, scuba diving and snorkelling and jet skiing at Airlie and Cairns.

AnswerWishlist (2)Hey Abhishek,Auli is a great place to visit in winter but even if you visit auli at any time throughout the year , this place won't disappoint you .Auli is specially popular for ski and amazing views of nanda devi ,chandrashila, trishool peaks and many more .And that will be great to have a small trip to auli (even a long trip won't satisfy your soul , it's that amazing place) , personal vehicle is preferred over cab for more free and adventurous trip . nearest railway station is Rishikesh are there's direct cab available and nearest airport is Dehradun and then continuing journey by cab to auli .Auli basically have little bit costly hotels and resorts due to its isolated location and great views . you will find some locals who provide tent facilities at some minimal cost which will be the lower compared to hotels or you could search for some sort of home stays locally. but if you are not interested in camping there, you must follow this link. checked and found that there are some great deals for only available here https://www.tripoto.com/auli/tour-packages

Hi Abhishek, Auli would be a great choice to visit now, and if plan to go after mid-Dec, you might even get to skii there. However, the budget will depend on which place you'll be traveling from. Approx, the travel, accommodation, food and activities should cost around 10-12K for 2,3 days, if you're going from Delhi. You can check out the following as well.
