5-6 days are enough if you are going for sightseeing. If you want to go on treks, you might need more days.

Best time to visit KASOL for trekking is between May and June. This is a time when the days can be a little hot, but the weather is generally bearable and gives way to cool nights.

Trekking is best mostly at the times when it is neither too hot and not too cold. Temperature in Kasol and Manikaran is always best to visit. You can visit these places in any time of the year.
But if you plan to specially trekk in these areas, then there is winter trek- mostly between October to February. And then there is peak season trek that is between March to June- July.
So you can choose your best time and visit and trek in Kasol and Manikaran. Enjoy your trek and visit.

Ideally, it's best to visit post first showers of monsoon i.e in August or September to witness lush green Aravali mountains and Lakes full .. However, winters also have it's own charm to explore Udaipur between Jan Feb

You can travel in the month of November although the sunset time gives the best views of the fort👍

Hi Rosy, Pondicherry is a great place to visit in December as the sun isnt too strong and the crowds are yet to trickle in. White Town is a small area that you can cover on foot. You don't necessarily need to know how to ride a bicycle. If you don't feel like walking, then simple raise your arm out and wait for an autowallah to cross. There are shared autos that also run in Pondicherry, though they aren't very accessible from White Town. Hope this helps.
