The best time to visit Lakshadweep is from October to mid May. From mid May to September it is rainy. Though all the resorts in Lakshadweep are open throughout the year, reaching there by ship is difficult during monsoon. I think you will have a blast there! Happy Journey!

It depends on what interests you. Also, how far would you like to travel. There are a bunch of crazy options within 100 - 200 Kms that you may want to explore as a solo traveler. "Mahabaleshwar" is a great destination if you love nature. Go for morning walks, bird watching, trek to the waterfalls and the fresh strawberries. Dont worry about the off season. You will still be able to enjoy the delicacies with strawberry flavor. Look up for "Kamshet" if you want to experience adventure. Go paragliding (this is the best destination for beginners). "Karnala" is another destination, less than 100 Kms from Mumbai. It is a great escapade into the nature.

If you can bear the scorching heat..then yes and moreover you can go out in the evenings and stay in through afternoons

If your parents are ok with the culture over there, then it's fine. Like some people don't like it. And in April it's gonna be hot and one advantage is that it will be less crowded.😅

Both are known for greeneries & hill stations.
in case of kerala back water& beaches are plus.
I recommend Kerala.

Hie Himanshu...glad to know your choice to visit Gangtok bcoz it's truly an amazing place..u will definitely enjoy it like a bliss if u are a nature person
coming to your query.. December being a little off time to visit, u will surely have lower tariffs everywhere. however you can land up at hotels like Tiptop which serves good food too and it is at walking distance from main market.
also u can book a tempo traveller from the taxi zone itself. But don't forget to bargain with them.

Summer is the best season to visit Europe and UK. However, if you are getting married around Feb, and want to go to Europe - Greece, Santorini, Switzerland, Turkey are some of the good options to consider.
