You can check Skyscanner to get lowest fare. doing it in incognito mode will added advantage. flying from Chennai or Hyderabad or Mumbai airport will fetch you lower cost than from North India.

Congrats on getting your passport. I would suggest visit a destination that is foreign yet close to home for.your first trip outside the country. While it is too hot for most of the beaches area, you can still try Bali. If mountains are your calling then.choose Bhutan. If you want to enjoy a city, then Singapore is great.
